Covid-19: Assessment climbs to 1888 cases in Morocco

Morocco has so far recorded 1888 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 126 deaths and 217 cures.

125 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the last 24 hours, bringing to 1888 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom until Tuesday at 6:00 pm, announced Mohamed El Youbi, director of epidemiology and disease control at the Ministry of Health.

No deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, he said, recalling that the death toll stood at 126.

In addition, 14 new healings were recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 217, he said.

Note that 8034 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
