Covid-19: Assessment climbs to 2024 cases in Morocco

Morocco has so far recorded 2024 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 127 deaths and 229 cures.

136 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the last 24 hours, bringing to 2024 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom until Wednesday at 6:00 pm, announced Mohamed El Youbi, director epidemiology and disease control at the Ministry of Health.

1 new death has been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths from the virus to 127, the official said.

In addition, 12 new healings were recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 229, he said.

Note that 8256 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
