The Crédit Agricole Group of Morocco is once again designated “Best Development Finance Institution” in 2018 for the African continent by the Association of African Development Financing Institutions (AIAFD).
AIAFD, the Association of African Development Financing Institutions, is an international organization created under the auspices of the African Development Bank (ADB) in 1975, bringing together banks and financial institutions involved in financing development for the public and private sectors in Africa.
This distinction, obtained for the third time in a row and which places the GCAM at the top of the African financing and development institutions, devotes the business model of the Crédit Agricole Group of Morocco and its ability to support, through innovative and adapted devices, the all components of the agricultural and rural world and in particular the most vulnerable.
Indeed, in a decade, the Crédit Agricole Group has moved from a specialized financial institution to a banking group solidly anchored in the Moroccan financial landscape with the specific characteristic of having developed support tools and financing vehicles dedicated to all business segments and, in particular, responding to the specific needs of small-scale farming and the rural world.
