Crowdfunding: Finance Commission examines Law 15-18

The Finance Committee of the House of Representatives has launched discussions on the provisions of Law 15-18 on collaborative funding with the Minister of Economy, Finance and Administrative Reform, Mohamed Benchaâboun. Crowdfundig takes three forms of financing: loan, capital investment and donation.

Law 15-18 thus makes it possible to define the legal framework for the exercise by Collaborative Financing Companies (CFCs) of the various forms of crowdfunding. The text thus establishes a complete system for regulating these activities, including, in particular, the creation of the status of manager of collaborative financing platforms (CFP); the definition of the CFCs approval and supervision of crowdfunding activities, the definition of procedures and modalities for the creation and operation of CFPs.

In addition, it defines the commitments and obligations of the CFCs in particular, in terms of public information, publicity and reporting.
