Dam fill rate decreases

The average fill rate of dams located entirely or partially in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region reached, as of January 28, around 59%, according to data from the Loukkos Water Basin Agency (ABHL). Compared to the same period last year, this rate shows a deficit of 6.7%.

The water reserves of these dams total 3.102 billion cubic meters, with a capacity of 5.243 billion cubic meters, said ABHL director Abdelhamid Benabdelfadel, during the presentation of the national drinking water supply program and 2020-2027 irrigation system.
