David T. Fischer confirmed US ambassador to Morocco

It’s official. David T. Fischer was confirmed as Ambassador of the United States of America two years after the departure of his successor, Dwight L. Bush.

David T. Fischer is officially the new American ambassador to Morocco.

He will replace Dwight L. Bush, who left the post two years ago, the US embassy in Rabat announced on its Twitter account.

As a reminder, US President Donald Trump announced on November 21, 2019, his intention to appoint David T. Fischer as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Morocco.

“President Donald Trump has announced his intention to appoint Mr. David T. Fischer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Morocco, among other appointments to key positions in his administration”, had indicated the White House.

Republican, David T. Fischer is a well-known industrialist in the United States. He assumed the role of CEO of Suburban Collection, the largest car dealership in the state of Michigan, with 48 franchise stores.

David T. Fischer is also involved in philanthropic work with several charities, and has served on the boards of numerous academic, cultural and social welfare institutions and foundations.
