The meeting is scheduled for April 5 and 6 in Marrakech. The players of the Moroccan tennis selection are “very motivated” and “well prepared” to win their match against Lithuania, counting for Group II (Europe-Africa zone) Davis Cup, said Tuesday at Marrakech, captain of the national team, Mehdi Tahiri.
At a press conference held at the Royal Tennis Club of Marrakech, Mehdi Tahiri said that the national team arrived a few days early in the red city to refine its preparation, better adapt to the recently renovated courts, and thus be in the best possible conditions. He stressed that the national tennis players are very motivated to defend the colors of Morocco during this meeting, scheduled for 5 and 6 April, while welcoming the cohesion, confidence and atmosphere within the group, as well as than the positive state of mind that reigns in the ranks of the selection in anticipation of this tennis event.
Captain Tahiri assured that his foals will excel, give the best of themselves and play their best to meet the expectations of all Moroccans, noting that they will play, with fighting spirit and courage, point by point in every game.
In this sense, he noted that he also relies on the support of the Marrakchi public to encourage these young players who will spare no effort to bring joy to the Moroccan people. “We rely heavily on the massive presence of the public to push and support the national team,” he insisted.
