The unemployment rate fell slightly among youth aged 15 to 24 and graduates, according to the HCP. In the first quarter, the rate fell from 25.7% to 24.1% among 15-24 year olds, and from 18.3% to 17.1% among people with a degree. These categories are with women most affected by unemployment.
Indeed, the highest unemployment rates are observed, especially among women (14.7% compared to 8.5% among men), young people aged 15 to 24 (24.1% against 7.8% among people aged 25 and over) and holders of a diploma (17.1% compared to 3.7% among non-graduates).
