Defense: Rabat and Madrid want to consolidate their cooperation

Morocco and Spain discussed Tuesday ways to strengthen their defense cooperation on the sidelines of the visit of the Spanish Secretary of State for Defense, Angel Olivares Ramirez.

The Spanish official, accompanied by a dozen heads of Iberian industrial companies, had an interview with Abdeltif Loudyi, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of the National Defense Administration.

Both parties agreed that there are promising prospects for bilateral and regional cooperation in the defense industry. This cooperation could be achieved through a mutually beneficial partnership approach, particularly in the field of shipyards, aircraft industries and the manufacture of mobility vehicles, they said.
