The investment company plans to file a criminal complaint in Morocco against its two former US directors, Michael Toporek and Mathew Lipman.
The latter refuses to share with the company the financial documents of the company Finco Prime, in which BPM has invested more than 3 million USD. BPM has recently learned that Michael Toporek is under investigation by the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s Finco Prime. Finco Prime is managed by Perry Jacobson, who is none other than the Managing Director of Brookstone Partners USA.
A board of directors of BPM is planned, whose agenda is the participation in the company Finco Prime, managed by the team of Michael Toporek.
Moreover, the court of Rabat has accepted the presence of a bailiff at the request of CEO Belmamoun, in order to note in a report the explanations of Lipman and Toporek concerning their serious actions in the Finco case.
BPM recalls that a judgment was obtained in his favor in a New York court. This judgment concerns the audit request of Finco Prime. Despite this, Finco refuses to date to share the financial documents with BPM.
Note that the two former US directors of BPM, Michael Toporek and Mathew Lipman, had resigned Tuesday, April 9.
