The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) defeated on Tuesday a drug trafficking operation at Avenue “Ambassador Ben Aicha” in Casablanca.
The BCIJ arrested seven suspects, including the head of the network, and seized about 7 tons on a cargo truck and two utility cars.
A sum of money estimated at MAD 204,630 was also seized. Initial findings show that the drug has been packaged “to ensure its watertightness” in order to be transported by sea. Investigations are continuing to dismantle this criminal network, to identify other accomplices.
