EasyJet cancels flights to Morocco

Following the Moroccan decision to suspend air links with Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, the airline EasyJet has decided to cancel its flights to Marrakech.

“Following this decision, we will cancel our flights from the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands until November 30,” said a spokesperson for the British low cost. He said EasyJet is awaiting guidance from the Moroccan government to operate repatriation flights. The company also promises to contact all its customers impacted by the suspension of flights and allow them to change their tickets for free or obtain a refund in cash or in the form of credits.

This week, Morocco suspended air links with Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom until further notice due to the worrying health situation in those countries. This measure came into effect on Wednesday, October 20 at midnight.
