En-Nesyri case: Leganés ready to seize FIFA

After the injury of his Moroccan international, Leganés does not intend to sit idly by. Back in Spain, En-Nesyri will have to undergo surgery at the knee. The club has still not reported on the injured player’s state of health at the Atlas Lions’ rally.

However, Spanish media has revealed that Leganés intends to seize FIFA in order to claim compensation from the FRMF. “The law stipulates that clubs are entitled to compensation if the injury of a player, who has been selected, lasts more than 28 days”, explains media.

And to add that the amount of the compensation varies according to the salary of the player concerned. “This is a contribution calculated in days that aims to compensate clubs that have lost the services of their selected players,” media concludes.

This is the case of Youssef En-Nesyri who was injured during the training of the national team on the eve of the friendly match against Argentina in Tangier. A match that ended with a victory for Albiceleste (0-1). According to Spanish media, En-Nesyri may be unavailable for a period of 1 to 4 months. He could miss the next Africa Cup of Nations.
