Enel partners on renewables in Morocco

Enel Green Power is working in Morocco to develop renewables projects in the North African country.

The collaboration agreement covers research and development, technical, commercial and economic analyses of clean power technologies, the promotion of national projects on joint renewable energy distribution and research on plant production, installation and operations, including storage.

Training programmes will also be launched on the production, installation, management and maintenance of renewable energy plants and on the network integration of clean power.

Enel Green Power in consortium with Nareva has about 850MW of wind power in the country after an international tender issued by Morocco’s “Office National de l’Electricite et de l’Eau Potable” (ONEE).
