During the “Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2021” award ceremony held online, the Attijariwafa bank group won the “Best Bank in Morocco in 2021” award from the prestigious English magazine Euromoney, publication international benchmark for the world’s financial markets for the 11th year.
According to the magazine, under the direction of its Chairman and CEO, Mohamed El Kettani, Attijariwafa bank has distributed in Morocco more than MAD 40 billion in additional loans since the start of the health crisis, including support for nearly 70,000 companies, mainly SMEs, in particular through flagship mechanisms such as “Oxygen” and “Relance” which have benefited Moroccan companies. To this is also added the “Intelaka” program in favor of very small businesses and entrepreneurs. Attijariwafa bank’s share in the three schemes is over 30%.
Euromoney, specified that the year 2021 was also marked by the launch of two new digital portals, Attijari CIB and Attijari Entreprises, which aim to streamline the user experience and add functionalities in cash management, trade , currencies, documentation and custody.
