Extension of the state of health emergency until December 31, 2021 in Morocco

The Governing Council meeting this Thursday, November 25, approved the draft decree extending the state of emergency in Morocco until December 31, 2021 at 6 p.m.

This draft decree grants the government authority in charge of the interior to take all the necessary measures in relation to the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the country.

As a reminder, this draft decree grants the government authority in charge of the Interior to take all the necessary measures in relation to the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the country.

Given the need to ensure that the provisions and measures taken are adequate with the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the different regions and provinces of the Kingdom, the draft decree provides for provisions enabling the governmental authority responsible for the Interior to take, in the light of the epidemiological situation, all appropriate measures at the national level.
