Facebook launches 2021 MENA Community Accelerator program

The application phase for the Facebook Mena Community Accelerator program, 2021 edition, is already launched. The race was open for the leaders of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) carrying community projects and wishing to translate them into action.

Through this eight-month program, broken down into three phases, Facebook is providing community-driven project initiators with in-depth training and funding of up to $ 50,000.

During the eight-month course, beneficiaries will first receive professional training and a personalized program of educational sessions provided by experts and coaches. These lessons aim to help them strengthen their communities and put in place a cohesive plan to implement their ideas. Second, they will work on implementing the chosen concept within their communities.

At the end of these two phases, the idea thus refined is for the potential partners, a group of mentors and the appreciation of a panel of juries who will choose, on the basis of objective criteria, the most promising projects. Successful project leaders will receive funding of up to $ 50,000 and the best project will receive additional funding of $ 1 million.
