“On February 20, there will be a national strike in the education sector,” said Sadek Rghioui, general secretary of the FDT National Education Union (SNE-FDT) in a statement.
According to him, this strike will be organized with other national unions, namely the FNE affiliated to the UMT and the National Education Union affiliated to the CDT.
The SNE-FDT had organized in early January, in consultation with other national unions in this sector, a strike following the failure of the dialogue sessions between the education unions and the Ministry of National Education which took place during the past year.
