The Argentinian driver Esteban Guerrieri won on Saturday in Marrakech race 1 of the “FIA WTCR Race of Morocco” 2019, first stage of the World Cup WTCR, played on the international circuit Moulay El Hassan.
Starting in pole position, Guerrieri, aboard his “Honda Civic Type R TCR”, withstood until the end the pressure of his dolphin of the day, the Swedish Thed Björk (Lynk & Co 03 TCR) at the turn 1 , maintaining his lead and first place during the 18 laps of this race.
The third place on the podium went to Argentina’s Nestor Girolami aboard his “Honda Civic Type R TCR”.
