Morocco has not moved in the latest world rankings published by FIFA. The Moroccan selection thus retains its 24th place, after qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Moroccan team managed to maintain its global and continental position with a score of 1551.88 against 1547.42 points in the FIFA rankings for the month of February.
On the continental level, the Atlas Lions are still 2nd behind Senegal. Nigeria, which has moved up two places in the world (30th) is now in 3rd continental position, ahead of Egypt (32nd in the world), Tunisia (35th), Cameroon (37th), Algeria (44th ), Mali (52nd), Côte d’Ivoire (53rd), and Burkina-Faso (56th).
The new ranking will be approved by the International Football Federation during the World Cup draw ceremony tomorrow in Doha, where the Moroccan team are in the third pot. They will thus avoid Senegal, Iran, Japan, Serbia, Poland, South Korea and Tunisia.

At world level, Brazil is the new leader, and now overtakes Belgium (2).
