FIFA: The national football team ranked 43rd

FIFA released its February ranking on Thursday, February 7th. The national football team has lost three places and is now in 43rd position.

Qualified for CAN 2019, the Atlas Lions are ranked 43rd in the FIFA World Ranking and 3rd in Africa with 1440 points behind Senegal, 24th (1505) and Tunisia, 28th (1493). Morocco is followed in this ranking by Nigeria 46th (1427), DR Congo 51st (1420) and Algeria is 69th.

For its part, Belgium has retained its place at the top of the ranking. France and Brazil complete the podium.

But what will be remembered the most is that thanks to his victory in the Asian Cup, Qatar climbs to 55th place in the FIFA rankings, so he wins 38 places.

Recall that the men of Hervé Renard will face next March Malawi for the final day of the group stage of CAN 2019.
