Five months in prison for the man who wished the death of El Othmani

The Appeals Chamber of the Court of First Instance in the city of Al Hoceima issued its verdict on appeal today in the case of the individual who had called for the murder of the head of government Saad-Eddine El Othmani.

The respondent was sentenced to five months in prison. At first instance, he had been sentenced to one year’s imprisonment. This native of Beni Bouayach commune was tried for “incitement to commit crimes”.

Recall that the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie Beni Bouayach (province of Al Hoceima) arrested Saturday, December 22, the subject, aged twenty, after the publication of a Facebook post prompting the death of Saad -Eddine El Othmani. In his message, the young man had expressed his wish to see the head of government be “beheaded” instead of two Scandinavian tourists killed in the region of Imlil.
