Forbes: Less billionaires in Africa

Africa has fewer billionaires than a year ago. The continent has 20 billion against 23 a year ago, according to Forbes. This reduction in the continent’s wealthiest list is partly due to lower stock prices and weaker currencies. Thus, the biggest African fortune, Aliko Dangote, sees its wealth decline by $ 2 billion to $ 10.3 billion.

In question, the decline in the share of Dangote Cement. Dangote is ahead of his compatriot Mike Adenuga (9.2 billion dollars), the South African Nicky Oppenheimer (7.3 billion) and the Egyptian Nassef Sawiris (6.3 billion).
