Formula E: FIA removes Morocco from 2021 calendar

Organized for the first time in 2016 as a showcase event for COP22 in Marrakech, Formula E (World Championship of Electric Cars) had made an impression with its silent racing cars, and its celebrity guests like Leonardo Di Caprio or the Prince Albert of Monaco.

And if Marrakech had since succeeded in preserving its place in the prestigious annual calendar of Formula E, alongside cities such as Paris, New York, Berlin, Riyadh or Monaco, here is that Morocco is not included in the calendar of the next season, recently unveiled by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) during its world council.

This will undoubtedly be a major loss for the ocher city, used to hosting this great mass of renewable energies in motorsport every year.
