France: Seizure of 1.3 tons of cannabis with the help of DGSN

The judicial police of Montpellier seized, last weekend, nearly 1.3 tons of resin of cannabis in various operations. This seizure allowed the arrest of 3 people. The operation was carried out with the assistance of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), Moroccan liaison magistrates, the Central Office for the Suppression of Illicit Traffic in Narcotics (OCRTIS) and the Spanish services.

A total of 43 Moroccan suitcases, each filled with 30 kilograms of cannabis resin, were found, with a total of 1,161 kilograms. And 117 kilos had been found before. The drug represents a value of 1 million euros. For sale in Europe, it could yield 5 million euros.
