According to preliminary reports, the accused, who was preparing to board a plane bound for Bordeaux (France), is the subject of a red notice from Interpol and is wanted by the Swiss courts. who had tried him in absentia for fraud when he was in charge of the management of a Swiss holding, said the DGSN in a statement.
The suspect was placed in custody at the disposal of the prosecution to be referred to the competent authorities responsible for extradition cases, according to the same source.
The arrest is part of DGNS efforts to strengthen international security cooperation mechanisms, the statement said.
