Fuels: The price of gasoline has increased in Morocco

As announced by Daily Morocco, the price of gasoline rose again at the beginning of this month.

Thus, in Casablanca, the price at the pump of this fuel is displayed at 10.73 dirhams/liter in the Ziz stations, while at Afriquia the price is 10.74 dirhams/L.

However, the price of diesel has not changed and stagnates at 9.51 dirhams/L for both distributors, has found Daily Morocco.

Recall that the president of the National Federation of Service Station Managers, Jamal Zrikom, said that the price of gasoline will increase by 42 cents this April 1, while that of diesel will not change.

It should be noted that the last increase in fuel prices was recorded on March 18th. The price of a liter of diesel had increased by 10 cents, while that of petrol had increased by 15 cents.

Meanwhile, oil prices rose on Friday as a result of reduced production by OPEC and its partners and US sanctions against Iran and Venezuela. Note that this is the largest quarterly increase in oil prices recorded since 2009.
