Futsal: Morocco climbs to 25th place in the world

The Moroccan futsal selection climbs from 30th to 25th in the world, according to the latest Futsal World Ranking recognized by FIFA and published on Wednesday. The Moroccan selection, crowned African champion last Friday, thus gains five places in this ranking credited with 1232 points.

This is the best ranking of the Atlas Lions who have retained, under the leadership of Hicham Deguig, their title of African champion after their victory against Egypt on the score of 5 to 0, during the final of the 6th edition of AfCON-2020, disputed from January 28 to February 7 in Laâyoune.

At the top of the world hierarchy, Brazil (1810 pts) ahead of Spain (1801 pts) while Argentina completes the podium (1694 pts).
