The Moroccan futsal selection qualified for the quarter-finals of the Futsal World Cup for the first time in its history by defeating Venezuela by the score of 3 goals to 2, this Wednesday evening at Zalgirio Arena in Kaunas in Lithuania.
The national team’s achievements came from hat-trick Soufiane El Mesrar in the 2nd, 9th and 31st minutes. Jesus Viamonte scored for Venezuela in the 7th minute, before his teammate Milton Francia closed the gap (34th).
