Gas: Sound Energy receives ONEE offer

Sound Energy has received the offer from the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) for the sale of the gas to be produced in Tendrara. “The offer provides that all gas produced in Tendrara’s existing production concession will be sold under a Gas Sales Agreement (GSA) to ONEE,” says the UK company. “The sale price of gas from 2022, with both a variable component linked to the price of Brent and a fixed element paid to the Company to fully cover the cost of transporting gas in the Tendrara project”, adds the company.

Note that fixed transportation costs are expected to be limited to approximately $ 12.2 million per year.

Recall that Sound Energy had signed an agreement with the Spanish Enagas for the completion of a pipeline to market the gas discovered by the company in Tendrara.
