Gas: Sound Energy rises its estimates

Sound Energy has revised upwards its gas estimates found in the TE-10 well at the Tendrara Research Zone level in the Oriental region.

The British company says the well, the second of a three-well drilling program, has a potential for “several million cubic feet” of gas.

The TE-10 well should now have a net pay of 15.4 m against 10.5 m for initial estimates. “After our first post-drilling technical analysis, we are pleased to substantially improve our net pay and confirm the potential of this multi-million cubic foot well,” said James Parsons CEO, adding that is eager to tackle the problem of well deliverability.
