Gastronomy: Morocco competes in Washington

Morocco is taking part, on Tuesday, in the 11th edition of the “DC Embassy Chef Challenge” gastronomic contest which is taking place in Washington. The two leaders Fayçal Zahraoui and Yassine Khellal will face other professionals from more than thirty accredited diplomatic representations in the US federal capital.

This contest, initiated by the Ronald Reagan Building by “DC Events”, the organization responsible for promoting various events in the US federal capital, had gathered more than 1,500 people in 2018. Last year, Morocco had won the “Best Dressed Embassy”, a prize that rewards the costume, the presentation and the decoration of the gastronomic work and the Moroccan stand. In 2017, Chief Mouha Fedal also won the Jury Prize.
