Good news for Casablanca Mohammed V Airport users

The announcement was made by the Director General of the National Airport Office (ONDA), Zouhair Mohamed El Oufir, him-self. From now on, travelers’ escorts have the right to access the interior of Casablanca’s Mohammed V airport.

A decision taken after the extension and renovation of Terminal 1 of the airport complex. Previously, only travelers were allowed to access the airport as a security measure.

Recall that the new Terminal 1 at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca, inaugurated on 22 January by King Mohammed VI, brings the overall capacity of this platform to 14 million passengers a year.

The project covers an area of ​​78,000 m², including 36,000 m² of renovated and modernized buildings with new ultra-modern systems and 38,000 m² of new buildings. All of these systems add a capacity of 7 million passengers to bring the overall capacity of Casablanca airport to 14 million passengers.
