Guelmim: AfDB Launches Souk At-Tanmia Program

The African Development Bank (AfDB) will proceed, from April 22nd in Guelmim, to the national launch of the Souk At-Tanmia program. This is in partnership with the Danish Cooperation (DANIDA) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

This is a project inspired by an experiment that has been successful in Tunisia in favor of the promotion of entrepreneurship especially among young graduates. The Guelmim event will be marked by the Bank’s first partnership with the Regional Foundation for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise (FREE) to announce a series of projects selected from nearly 250 candidates, says a statement from the AfDB.

With a mechanism combining access to financing and targeted support, the objective of the Souk At-Tanmia initiative is to give a new impetus to young people, women, associations, cooperatives and micro-entrepreneurs to innovate, undertake and concretize their ideas, is it explained.
