Moroccan international Ajax Amsterdam Hakim Ziyech is in Real Madrid’s sights, a Spanish sports website said on Monday, noting that the merengue club “is seriously considering” to engage the player’s services.
Hakim Ziyech “has become important in the agenda of Florentino Pérez”. The president of Real Madrid “was pleasantly surprised to see him play in the Santiago Bernabéu – in the Champions League – with a lot of ease and freshness,” says the Iberian media.
The Spanish site estimates 25 million euros the price of its possible transfer from the Dutch club to Real Madrid, noting that the Moroccan international is one of the stars of the “amazing Ajax”, qualified for the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The media estimates that at age 26, Hakim Ziyech thinks it’s time to leave the Eredivise and try his luck in a big club, adding that the contenders will not fail.
Roma, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich or Manchester United are also interested in the Moroccan international, the source said.
Erik Ten Hag’s team is developing a direct football with which they have succeeded in eliminating clubs such as Real Madrid or Juventus, the news website said, noting that one of the architects of these kings has been Hakim Ziyech.
“Ajax’s 22 plays with absolute freedom in attack where he can display his vision of the game, his quality, his skill with the ball and his shot,” added the spanish media again.
