Hakim Ziyech continues to leave his mark in the Champions League. After equalizing Marouane Chamakh’s goal record, the Moroccan international is tackling assists and beating a record for former Atlas Lion Mbarek Boussoufa.
Hakim Ziyech caused another sensation in the Champions League. The Moroccan international delivered an assist to Timo Werner, ahead of the best Moroccan passer in European competition, surpassing M’barek Boussoufa’s record with 18 assists.
Chelsea convincingly reached the knockout stages of the Champions League on Tuesday. The Blues settled 4-0 against Juventus with a Ziyech in great shape.
Internet users have also praised the performance of the 28-year-old ally, who has recovered, as evidenced by his last entry into the game against Leicester, last Saturday.
The victory not only secured Chelsea a place in the next round, but also took the lead in Group H. Thomas Tuchel’s team (twelve points) is tied with Juventus, also qualified for the round of 16.
As a reminder, Hakim Ziyech has recently been linked with a departure from Chelsea as Borussia Dortmund are considering a loan in January for the Moroccan and Xavi’s FC Barcelona have expressed interest in allying them.
