Hydrocarbons: SDX will launch 12 new boreholes

SDX Energy will start a new 12-well drilling campaign in Morocco. The British company will begin this operation in the third or fourth quarter of 2019 and is expected to complete its work in the first quarter of 2020. During this season, the LNB-1 and LMS-1 wells of Lalla Mimouna, originally drilled in 2018, will be tested again, says the company.

In total, nearly 100 million MAD ($ 10 million) will be invested in these operations, including nearly 80 million MAD injected by the company. It should be noted that SDX targets a gross production of 9 to 11 million cubic feet of conventional natural gas per day in 2019.
