Hydrocarbons, the first subject for members of the Competition Council

Immediately invested, the members of the Competition Council will be heart to the book by focusing on a first particularly thorny issue, that of the price of hydrocarbons.

This subject for the least hot on which they go floor is Lahcen Daoudi who initiated it so we can say so and after his bickering with fuel distributors on a possible cap.

Indeed, it will be recalled that as soon as the Competition Council Bureau was appointed, the Minister of General Affairs and Governance was the first government authority to rely on the Council to ask it to rule on the question of the margin of the tankers.

This issue has therefore been put to the care of the Conseil de la concurrence. And it is clear that expectations of its outcome are many and more particularly from the consumer who hopes that Driss Guerraoui & Co will do better than their predecessors.

Remember Benamour’s time, the Council had tried to stop a crazy rise in fuel prices but blockages here and there had eventually abort this sincere intention. The test was never transformed, the lobbies had finally got the upper hand.
