Iberia launches six new links to Morocco this summer

The Spanish national airline has just unveiled its summer schedule. Iberia will launch six new routes this summer from Spain to Morocco, serving Nador, Casablanca, Tangier and Tetouan.

For the summer of 2022, the Spanish national airline had announced a return to 85% of 2019 capacity, before the Covid-19 pandemic. Towards Morocco, Iberia posted seasonal news from Spain with three new arrivals for Nador and three others for Casablanca, Tangier and Tetouan.

Thus, Nador airport will welcome three new routes: from Alicante-Elche from July 25 to September 1 without competition (2 flights per week), from Palma de Mallorca-Son Sant Joan from July 25 to September 1 (2 flights opposite Air Arabia Maroc and Air Europa), and from June 1 on departure from Malaga-Costa del Sol (2 flights opposite Air Arabia Maroc, Royal Air Maroc and Ryanair).

Malaga will also be linked by the Spanish national airline to Casablanca-Mohammed V from June 1 and for the first time since 2010, the four weekly rotations facing those of Air Arabia Maroc and Royal Air Maroc (RAM).

Tangier-Ibn Battouta airport will be entitled to two flights per week from June 3 to September 2; in competition with RAM and Ryanair, and finally Tetouan-Sana Ramel will be served from Malaga from June 4 to September 3 twice a week against Ryanair alone.
