Industrial acceleration: Morocco and UNIDO join forces

Morocco and UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) concluded on Tuesday in Rabat a new Country Partnership Program (CPP). It covers the period 2019-2023 and aims to support the country’s industrialization efforts and achieve its sustainable development objectives. It will support the development of industrial ecosystems, particularly to promote the development of sustainable industrial zones.

In addition, the new program will support the transition to a green economy that respects balances and environmental challenges, “while optimizing the use of energy inputs in industrial processes”. It should be noted that this CPP is also devoted to strengthening South-South cooperation.
