The global operator inwi is, for the 5th consecutive year, supplier of the “most efficient mobile internet network for the general public in Morocco in 2021”, according to the results of the annual survey by “nPerf”, an independent reference platform in terms of measurement of the quality of the Internet connection in the world.
“Hundreds of thousands of measurements have been taken by users of Moroccan mobile networks, throughout the national territory, allowing the global operator inwi to take first place in the nPerf ranking, for the year 2021, with a score of 53,996 points. These tests focused on parameters such as throughput, video performance and quality of access to internet services,” inwi said in a statement.
In detail, the average downlink speed on the inwi network has evolved by +9.5% between 2020 and 2021, while at the level of the average uplink speed, inwi maintains its leadership for the year 2021. During this year, users of the inwi mobile network benefited from the best response time. The customer experience, meanwhile, improved by 13% between 2020 and 2021.
This consecration, for the 5th consecutive year, crystallizes the innovation and investment efforts made by inwi to modernize its network infrastructures and offer solid and efficient network coverage to all Moroccans.
Thanks to its efficient network, the operator provides precise and effective responses to the needs of Moroccans to take full advantage of the mobile Internet, thus further strengthening its position as an innovative and avant-garde operator.
Sustained efforts, which place inwi at the center of the national ecosystem for digital inclusion, in particular by working on the ground to reduce the digital divide at the national level, through its commitment within the framework of the National Broadband Plan.
Recognized by the world’s largest operators, the nPerf application makes it possible to determine the quality of the 2G/3G/4G/Wi-Fi mobile connection, through a whole series of speed, navigation and video streaming tests. The application thus assesses the technical capacities linked to a given connection, by measuring the quality of the networks perceived by customers in the places where they are used to using their smartphones.
In 2021, nPerf has approximately 150 million tests worldwide. Its server network is made up of more than 1900 servers around the world with a total bandwidth of more than 5 Tb/s.
