Kuwait Airways returns to Morocco

Kuwait Airways plans to launch a new route to Morocco from Kuwait next spring.

After 13 years of absence, Kuwait Airways returns to Casablanca. From June 1, 2022, it will operate two weekly flights between its base in Kuwait City and Casablanca-Mohammed V airport. These flights will be operated by Boeing A330-800 with 32 passengers in Business class and 203 in Economy. The company will have no direct competition on this line (the major Gulf companies are already present in the Moroccan city, and Royal Air Maroc serves Doha and Dubai, for example).

Besides Morocco, the carrier will launch four other new routes from Kuwait. From May 3, Kuwait Airways will connect Kuwait to Manchester Airport with two weekly Airbus single-aisle flights. Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suarez airport will be served from June 11 to September 15, on the return flight of the existing line to Malaga, at the rate of three weekly rotations in A330-200 (17 seats in First class, 30 in Business class and 165 in Economy) to the Spanish capital, his second destination in the country. Finally, Kuwait Airways will offer two weekly flights to Moscow-Domodedovo from June 2 to September 15. These flights are operated by A320neo. The same pace is offered to Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman from June 7.
