Princess Lalla Salma presided the inauguration ceremony of the museum Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakesh. Dedicated to the work of the couturier, the museum hosts part of the Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation collection. The Yves Saint Laurent Museum, inaugurated by Princess Lalla Salma, includes a permanent exhibition space of 400 m², presenting the work of Yves Saint Laurent in an original scenography by Christophe Martin. The museum also hosts a temporary showroom. The first will be devoted to the painter Jacques Majorelle. The museum also has a research library with more than 5,000 books, a 150-seat auditorium, a bookstore and a café with terrace. The design of this project, with an area of 4,000 m², was entrusted to Studio KO, an architectural firm founded by Olivier Marty and Karl Fournier.
