Launch of the 5th edition of the International Risk Management Forum

The work of the 5th edition of the International Risk Management Forum (FIRM 2019), which will focus on new trends in Risk Management and new approaches to take advantage of certain opportunities to develop and manage risk more effectively, opened on Thursday, January 24, 2019, in Casablanca, with the participation of Moroccan and foreign experts.

Organized by the Interword agency in partnership with the Association for Risk Management and Insurance of the Company in Morocco (AMRAEM), the 2019 FIRM aims to highlight new trends and approaches to Risk Management in different domains.

Speaking at the opening of this meeting, the president of AMRAEM, Mohamed Aziz Derj, indicated that during the two days of work of this edition, topics will be discussed such as the risks of payment, the creditworthiness based on risk, project risks and construction risks.

He also indicated that an Associate in Risk Management course will be offered to participants to provide both the necessary technical skills and international professional recognition.

And to emphasize that through the exchanges, the forum will shed light on the role of digitalization through innovative solutions that combine expertise and software to better exploit data and improve internal processes.

For AMRAEM president, industry stakeholders will share their expertise and know-how to highlight the importance of Risk Management in the business management process and the best practices and technical and technological solutions to be put in place gradually to evaluate, analyze, manage and control risks.

More than 150 participants representing banks and conventional and participative financial institutions, technology suppliers, consultants and all stakeholders in the development of risk management will take part in these two days of work.
