Moroccan footballer Nabil El Zhar has terminated his contract with CD Leganés, the Madrid suburban club said in a statement posted on his website.
“The CD Leganés and Nabil El Zhar have agreed to terminate the contract that bound them until June 30, 2020. As a result, the 32-year-old Moroccan mid-air will not evolve in the club next year,” specified the same source.
El Zhar leaves the Leganés after two and a half seasons defending the colors of the club, the statement added, recalling that the Moroccan international arrived in 2017 from Las Palmas.
The Moroccan player played 82 official matches with Leganés during which he scored 8 goals.
The suburban club of Madrid has thanked El Zhar for his “professionalism” during the period spent at Leganés, while wishing him the best in professional and personal terms.
