Loudiyi talks in Madrid with the Spanish Minister of Defense

The Minister Delegate to the Head of the Government in charge of National Defense Administration Abdellatif Loudiyi, met with the Spanish Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, in Madrid.

The talks are part of a working visit by Abdellatif Loudiyi to Spain, focusing on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the various fields, particularly in the field of cyber defense and emerging threats. The continuation of industrial and technological collaboration in the field of defense was also at the heart of these interviews.

According to a statement from the Spanish Ministry of Defense, Margarita Robles stressed the need to further strengthen the Moroccan-Spanish cooperation relations in the field of defense. Moreover, it highlighted Morocco’s efforts in the fight against terrorism, illegal immigration networks and other illegal trafficking, describing the Kingdom’s commitment in these areas as “essential for the stability of the region”.
