Marrakech: Bourita talks with UN Deputy Secretary-General

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, held talks in Marrakech on Sunday with the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, Amina Mohamed.

The UN official will take part in the 52nd session of the Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) held in Marrakech on 25 and 26 March.

Amina Mohamed took part on Saturday in the 20th meeting of the Regional Coordination Mechanism for Africa (RCM) and the 3rd joint meeting of the RCM and the African Regional Office of the United Nations Group for Sustainable Development.

This interview took place in the presence of Ambassador Omar Hilale, Vice-President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), President of the humanitarian affairs segment of this body and Permanent Representative of Morocco to the UN.
