“Populism and post-truth politics: Resentment against globalization” was the central theme of a debate organized in Marrakesh as part of the work of the 7th edition of the International Conference of “The Atlantic Dialogues”, organized from 13 December to 15 in the Ocher City, by the think tank “Policy Center for the New South” (PCNS), under the theme “Atlantic Dynamics: Overcoming Breakpoints”.
Questioned by the rise of populism, globalization was at the center of this debate moderated by Ms. Bronwyn Nielsen, editor-in-chief and director of CNBC Africa (South Africa), and enhanced by the contributions of two prestigious guests: Madeleine Albright , former US Secretary of State and Pedro Pires, former President of Cape Verde.
