This is the 2nd edition of the Marrakesh Real Estate and Urbanism Fair (SIUM) which opens its doors from January 24 to 27, 2019 at Place 18 Novembre in the Ocher City.
30,000 visitors are expected at this second edition and no less than 80 exhibitors hold their stand on an area of 5,000 square meters.
“We started from the simple observation that the real estate market is being held back by the lack of accurate information, false beliefs and personal brakes diverting offers from demand,” says Cyrille Sismondini, SIUM project manager. In a context marked by the stagnation of the real estate market, the SIUM wants to be a hub that connects individuals who have a real estate project with all stakeholders in the value chain of the sector, namely developers, agencies real estate companies, banks, notaries or DGI. This show highlights the choice of offers for sale, renting for all social categories, all segments (collective or individual) and all publics (national, international, MRE).
The banks are there to inform the visitors about the loans, their modalities, the capacity of financing and will guide them in the most adapted solution to concretize their project. In terms of support, the order of notaries in the region is present in force to provide expertise in the field of purchase, sale of inheritance. On the menu also scientific conferences and meetings around including urban planning.
This second edition will see the organization of practical workshops with experts to provide visitors with the necessary information. Speed meetings will also be offered with specialists (bankers, notaries, tax …). In addition, the SIUM will be dedicated this year to sustainable development. It will value the projects and actors that work in the field of environmental preservation. With the key participation of young entrepreneurs who will have the opportunity to present their projects and achievements to the general public. On this occasion, a panel of professionals will nominate the winner of the first “SIUM Entrepreneur” trophy.
