McDonald’s inaugurates its 53rd restaurant in Morocco

In line with its development plan, McDonald’s in Morocco is inaugurating its 53rd restaurant in Zenata and announces the opening of its 54th in Hay Inara – Ain Chock (Casablanca) towards the end of October. The brand intends to create 2,000 direct jobs by 2024.

The 53rd McDonald’s restaurant was inaugurated on Friday July 17 in Zenata, the first city to receive the Eco-City Label (ECL). McDonald’s Zenata has an overall capacity of 238 places, including 116 on the terrace, a car park and green spaces spanning 588m². It required an investment of around MAD 19 million, and generated 60 direct jobs.

Digitized restaurant

Interactive digital terminals for order taking to optimize the speed of service and the accuracy of orders are available as well as table service. Wifi terminals with unlimited access are available to customers.

The opening of this new restaurant was done in full compliance with the special anti-covid measures that have been put in place by McDonald’s in its restaurants and kitchens to strengthen the health and safety of its employees and customers.
